Kinda cheating to do much research. Grey area. What's meant by not googling is not to put in "lyrics" and the name of the song, nor to look up a song you just suspect might have that word.
If you know for sure the word is in there and you own the CD or it's on iTunes, and you want to double check the other lyrics around it, that's not bad.
I keep thinking there's a "flying ace" song but can't think of it, so if this triggers anyone's memory (no their ability to google; I could've done that) then you can have it!
Sandra, re "flying ace", I had a similar thought, and went back and listened to "Snoopy and the Red Baron". It's about a flying ace, but doesn't mention "ace" in the song.
I was also thinking of an old song called "Sky Pilot", but I don't have it to listen to and I can't remember many of the words.

But in his final words I found an ace that I could keep.
The Gambler - Kenny Rogers
I deal my own deck
sometimes the ace,
sometimes the deuces
I AM WHAT I AM - from La Cage Aux Folles
Then a man came on the radio
And this is what he said
He said, "I hate to break it to his fans
But Johnny Ace is dead,
Yeah, yeah, yeah."
(Paul Simon, "The Late, Great, Johnny Ace")

Curl of lip
Swirl of gown
Ace of hearts
Face of clown
"Masquerade" from "The Phantom of the Opera"
Riverboat gambler....
Hiding that ace up your sleeve
You can draw diamonds to fill out your flush
You can find someone to trust
(Carly Simon)
When I look at the Ace
it reminds me that
there is but one God
Deck of Cards - Tex Ritter
Linnaea says "Ace of Spades" and then none of us can come up with 3 more words.
Hmmmm...
The only card you need is the ace of spades, the ace of spades.
Motorhead, The Ace of Spades
Is it cheating to listen to the song on youtube?
