Short version of rules
Without using a search engine to find one, write down at least eight words of a song containing the word (or the topic, if it's a general topic).
If it's the newest word, play once, and wait for another player to play before you go again.
On older words, you can play over and over without waiting!

Broadway rhythm it's got me

I believe it is from American in Paris, as is "I've got Rhythm", which would make it the Gershwins. I think it's from the very very long dance scene in the middle which doesn't have much in the way of singing.
Actually, Margaret, that's from "Singin' in the Rain"--you did get the Gene Kelly part! The tune is called "The Broadway Melody" and was written by Arthur Freed & Nacio Herb Brown. They also wrote the movie's title song. Great "rhythm" song!
