Two comments:
#1: Isn't this odd: I can't think of a single song with the word "husband" in it. Although some are clearly referencing a husband or or from the point of view of a husband, aspiring husband, or ex-husband, like "Our House Is a Very Fine House," "Take a Letter, Maria," "Henry the 8th I Am," "If I Were a Carpenter," "Gold Cladagh Ring," and "All My Exes Live in Texas." And some I can think of refer to someone else's husband, like Janis Ian's "In the Winter:" "You have a lovely wife," and Harry Chapin's "Poor Damn Fool."
#2: Deborah in IL played a song with the word "uncle," and that reminded me of "Yankee Doodle."
