He drank up all the water,
He ate up all the soap.
He tried to eat the bathtub,

Sons of God, hear His holy word
Gather 'round the table of the Lord
Eat His body, drink His blood
And we'll sing a song of love
Alle lu, alle lu, alle lu, alleluia

(from Catholic guitar mass, late 60's)

We are thankful for this food that we have et.
It was pleasing to the appe-tet.
It was yummy, yummy, yummy and so pleasing to our tummies
And that's the reason for this minuet.

--A sort of camp song, a "thank you" to the cooks. Used at a religious youth retreat.
