You look out of the kitchen window and you shake your head and say low, if I could believe that stuff, Id say that woman has a halo... And I look out and say, yeah, shes really blond, And then I go outside and join the others, I am the others...
my tea's gone cold, I'm wondering why I got out of bed at all, the morning rain clouds up my window, and I can't see at all, and even if I could it'd all be gray but your picture on my wall, it reminds me that's it's not so bad

Bluebird, bluebird, in and out my window
Oh Johnny I'm tired
(traditional circle game)
When God closes a door
He opens a window, a window.
He opens a window so I can see
He's working it out
The very best for me.

As Cool As I Am
I am sitting
In the morning
At the diner
On the corner
I am waiting
At the counter
For the man
To pour the coffee
And he fills it
Only halfway
And before
I even argue
He is looking
Out the window
At somebody
Coming in

open up a dirty window
let the sun illuminate the words
that you could not find...
