Early one morning
Just as the sun was rising
I heard a maiden sing in
The valley below

What do we do with a drunken sailor
Ear-lye in the morning

(Sally, I know that song, and The Friendly Giant used to play it on a recorder on his show in ancient times.)

I found a link, and he's not playing the recorder. Maybe that was the closing credits scene. He was about to play when it cuts off, but the theme song is done with harp and recorder as it opens.

Early morning, April 4, shot rings out in the Memphis sky.
Free at last, they took your life.
They could not take your pride.
