Rise

rises, rising, risen, arise, arose (not the flower)

Adventures in painting with molten wax
is the source of that last one. I guess as the temperature of the wax rises...

It's time to open up your eyes

I serve a Risen Savior
He's in the world today
I know that he is living
Whatever men may say
I feel his hand of mercy
I hear his voice of cheer
And just the time I need him
He's always near

-"He Lives!"

Arise, my love
Arise, my love.
The grave no longer has a hold on you.
No more death's sting,
No more suffering,
Arise, arise, my love.

You raise me up
So I can stand on mountains
You raise me up
To walk on stormy seas
I am strong
When I am on your shoulders
You raise me up
To more than I can be

-I know it from Josh Groban's version, but the wiki says it was originally an insrumental by Secret Garden and has been covered over 125 times! o_O

I think that morning sun was shining. It had to rise first, but that was unspecified.

One of these mornings
You're gonna rise up singing...

"Summertime", which was written by George Gershwin and sung by a whole boatload of people but it's always Janis Joplin singing it in my head :)

And the rain, rain, rain
Came down, down, down
In rushing, rising riv'lets
And the river crept out of its bed
And crept right into Piglet's
