Clock

I can't bring this one here, but if you go to http://server-space.co.uk/and click on flash and then digital clock, there's something fun. And it will have the right time at your house, unlike most of these others. If you can't think of a song (or even if you can), if you want to leave the link to another online clock, that would be cool.

Confusion never stops
Closing walls and ticking clocks
Gonna come back and take you home
I could not stop that you now know

There's a sad sort of clanging
From the clock in the hall
And the bells in the steeple too
And up in the nursery
An absurd little bird
Is popping out to say, "Cuckoo!"

-"Adieu" from "The Sound of Music"

I fumble for the clock,
alarmed by the seduction,
I wish that it would stop

And think of you

She believes that life is made up of all that you're used to
And the clock on the wall has been stuck at three for days, and days...

It's nine o'clock on a Saturday;
The regular crowd shuffles in.
There's an old man sittin' next to me
Makin' love to his tonic and gin.

I was planning to say I was in love with her
Just as soon as she showed for a two o'clock date
And the clock said four of two

The blue lights were flashing as they lay my baby down inside.

"That Old Clock On The Wall" sung by Dean Martin

Like that old clock on the wall that keeps ticking night and day
My heart will keep beatin' just for you
Like that old river that flows and keeps rolling out to sea
My love will go on my whole life through.

My grandfather's clock
Was too big for the shelf
So it stood ninety years on the floor...

(this song is surely over 90 years old... maybe it's about to stop too. But for now it's a big BONUS song and fits three or four categories!)

This is the clock upon the wall

I hear it on the radio all the time, got no idea who's singing...

This old world's gonna reel and rock

Oh, Mary don't you weep
